After undergoing the undergraduate programme of the Department of Civil Engineering, the student should be able to:

Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to solve civil engineering problems.

Design and conduct experiments / simulations as well as analyse and interpret data.

Design a system, components or process to meet the desired needs within the realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, safety and sustainability.

Identify, formulate, model and solve civil engineering problems.

Use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practices.

Understand engineering and management aspects effectively and to be able to function on diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
