Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs):

  • Identify, analyze, plan, define and solve problems in the fields of electronics & communication engineering working individually or in a team, utilizing the acquired knowledge.

  • Employ necessary techniques and tools for advanced engineering applications, engage themselves in R&D, lifelong learning and pursue higher education.

  • To use technical and linguistic skills with a techno ethical approach whereby raising the satisfaction level of the stakeholders both socially and professionally.

Programme Outcomes (POs):

  • To apply knowledge of basic sciences and mathematics to attain the solutions pertaining to problems associated with the discipline.

  • To analyse an engineering problem, formulate and implement solutions based on mathematical and engineering modelling.

  • To work effectively as an individual as well as in a group to provide technical and visionary leadership to others.

  • To apply ethical and legal principles of engineering practice in creating an awareness of social issues with appropriate responsibility.

  • To communicate effectively on engineering topics with a range of engineering community in particular and society in general.

  • Awareness of the requirement for and ability to engage in continuing professional development in the field of engineering in general and electronics and communication in particular.

  • To learn and use modern tools and techniques for computing practice.

  • To conduct investigation of complex problems using research based knowledge and techniques.

  • To understand the impact of electronics and communication engineering solutions to society and environment.

  • To apply management principles in multidisciplinary projects.
