Management Forum Of NERIST(MaFoN)
MaFoN (the Management Forum of NERIST), a body comprising of students and teachers, established in the date 18-08-2007, is a common platform for unleashing the hidden creativity amongst the upcoming managers. The primary objectives of MaFoN are to groom the students in developing the problem solving skills and managerial competencies in strategy formulations in context to practical situations. The Forum aims at identifying the problems afflicting the region and to formulate strategies to sustain the pace of socio-economic growth in co-ordination with industrial and economic establishments as well as Non-governmental and Governmental organizations. MaFoN with tagline "where managers are made" provides a unique podium for nurturing the creative talent and potential of students through various activities to achieve the long cherished milestone of becoming a successful manager. Expert talks from India and abroad by eminent personalities to be organized to fulfill the tagline. To promote intellectual and professional activities in the Centre, the Forum has been very actively organizing professional activities like conducting expert talks by eminent speakers, seminars, GDs and outdoor Management Development Activities.
Objective :
- To provide a platform to showcase the creativity of the members in the form of group discussion, role play, blogging, business quiz,etc.
- To conduct team building activities for different social causes.
- To organise invited talks, Faculty Development Program, Management Development program.
- To celebrate national importance day.
