Training on ‘Application of Python & MATLAB in applied sciences’ begins

NIRJULI, Aug 08: A five-day training on ‘Application of Python and MATLAB in Applied Sciences’, organized by  National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) in association with NERIST in line with the NEP 2020, was inaugurated at NERIST begun here on Thursday.

NERIST director Prof. Narendranath S. inaugurated it in presence of  NERIST dean (admin) Prof. M. Chandrasekharan, physics HoD Dr. M. Upadhyay and associate Prof Dr. M.Marjit Singh  and Singh, NIELIT director in-charge R. K. Bigensana.

Guwahati-based Tech Booster Pvt. Ltd’s Dr Bimal Kumar Kalita is the resource person for the training for NERIST students and faculty from.

The trainees will benefit in data analysis and visualization, problem solving and innovation in both Python and MATLAB, essential in applied sciences, with distinct advantages in engineering and scientific research. This would speed up innovation with cutting costs and short duration would allow in pursuing ambitious initiatives and solve challenging issues of applied science.
