About the Placement Cell
The Placement Cell of NERIST (formerly, the Training and Placement Cell) has been instrumental in facilitating placement, training, and career counselling to the students in tune with the changing times and demands of the industry.
Apart from the recruitment drives, the Placement Cell also organizes Industrial Training for B. Tech pre-final year students for a period of 30 days or 4-weeks as a part of the curriculum. These training programmes are usually scheduled during the summer vacations where the students are sent to reputed organizations across the country in order to get a hands-on exposure and skills acquisition complementing their theoretical knowledge.
Further the Placement Cell of NERIST is fully equipped to conduct in-campus recruitment drives, online interviews, and online screening tests as required by the visiting organizations from time to time. Apart from the Placement and Training, the Cell also focuses on the following:
- Students’ Career Counselling Workshops
- Customized Training programmes and workshops for facing placement interviews.
- Mock – cum – Preparatory tests on Numerical, Logical, and Analytical abilities.
- Alumni interaction.
