Mentoring series ‘Industry Insights from Alumni Mentors’ was held on Feb. 19, 2024. There were about 100 participants. ​
Mentoring series ‘Industry Insights from Alumni Mentors’ was held online on Apr. 22, 2024. There were about 45 participants.
NEP 2020 day was celebrated on July 29, 2024. Total no. of participants: 65​
A workshop on ‘How do I become an entrepreneur?’ was held on Aug. 17, 2024. Total no. of participants: 166 (students), 13 (faculty/staff).​
Call for Proposal for PINS – 2024 with last date as 31st Aug. was announced. Four projects have been selected for funding. Mentoring of the project teams is going on currently.
A workshop on ‘My Story - Motivational Session by Successful Innovators’ was held on 16th Sept., 2024.
Internal Smart India Hackathon (Sih) 2024 was held on 18th Sept. 2024 in the CSE department. Six teams were selected for entry into SIH 2024. ​
An fitness event `Vitality Hour: Health & Harmony’ was held in the morning of 25th Oct., 2024.
A talk 'Research to Impact: S&T landscape’ was held in the evening of 25th Oct., 2024.
A workshop `Mission Innovation: Start Up - Stand Up - Stay Up’ was held on 26th Oct., 2024.
Smart India Hackathon 2023

  1. Seven 6-member teams of students registered in October, 2023 for Smart India Hackathon 2023.
  2. A sensitization camp for Boeing Build 3.0 Hackathon was organized on 2nd Nov at 4 pm in the EE deptt.  seminar hall. The resource person was  Dr. Rajiv Das Kangabam who works as manager at BRTC (BIRAC Regional Techno-entrepreneurship Centre) and heads the BRTC activities in the East and North East region. The Director, Prof. Narendranath S. encouraged the students gathered to think out of the box and avail of the opportunities provided by programs such as the Build 3.0 program.  The resource person sensitized the gathering on the various opportunities provided through the Build 3.0 program. 

    One team from AE department has submitted their idea to the Boeing Build 3.0 program. The idea is based on the integration of aquaculture and hydroponics and entitled ‘AquaHydro Culture’. The name of the team is `NE-Agripreneur’ and the members are Sameer, Nyigam and Sagar.
  3. Dr. (Mrs.) Yamem Tamut who is a member of the IEC represented the IEC in a workshop on enabling women-led development on 24th November, 2023 at Itanagar.
