One week Workshop on“BMS for Electric Vehicle: EV-PRENEURESHIP 2023” was successfully conducted by Institute Industry Interaction cell, NERIST, Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with iNurture, Ghziabad and Electrovent LPP, Kolkata held from 12- 15 October 2023 at SEMINAR HALL, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, NERIST. More than 200 students of different engineering branch were praticipated in this programme. During Hands on session of this workshop Five electric cycle was made by the NERIST Students.
Doer Ideation Challenge 2023 : Antah Prerana was conducted by Institute Industry Interaction Cell, NERIST in collaboration with Doer Global on 09th September 2023 at ET Cell, NERIST. This transformative event has left an indelible mark on the academic landscape of the institute and has set the stage for future entrepreneurial endeavours.
The journey of the Doer Ideation Challenge began with meticulous planning and tireless efforts of the team for over two months leading up to the event, we strategically executed our outreach campaign, touching the lives of nearly half the students and faculties of NERIST.
This extensive outreach laid the foundation for an inclusive and vibrant challenge. The Challenge Itself The day of the challenge was nothing short of spectacular. We witnessed an overwhelming response from the student community, with 22 budding founders stepping forward with innovative ideas that have the potential to positively impact rural livelihoods on a large scale. This display of creativity and passion was a testament to the untapped entrepreneurial spirit within NERIST.
Esteemed Judges Our esteemed panel of judges, featuring Tage Rita (Founder and CEO of NAARA AABA) and Mukkabir Rahman (Renowned Innovator and Founder of ‘Think’), played a pivotal role in selecting the top 10 ideas. Their invaluable insights and expertise helped identify the most promising ventures among the participants. Recognition and Rewards: The challenge concluded with a grand celebration of entrepreneurship. We recognized the top 10 ideas and rewarded the top 3 with not only cash prizes but also certificates of excellence. Furthermore, these winners gained early access to our flagship program, “The Doer Smart Incubation Program,” a comprehensive platform for nurturing student entrepreneurs.
Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: It was heartening to see the presence and active participation of women entrepreneurs during the challenge. Two young and enthusiastic women entrepreneurs took up the gauntlet and delivered remarkable performances. This is a testament to the inclusivity of the challenge and the potential for further fostering women entrepreneurship in the region.
Stage 1 Evaluation by the Host Institute NERIST, Arunachal Pradesh: MSME IDEA HACKATHON 3.0 For Women Innovators was successfully conducted on 2nd September 2023 at 3:00 PM at Seminar Hall, Department of Agriculture Engineering, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), NIRJULI, Arunachal Pradesh as one of the Host Institutions for this esteemed Hackathon. We received 16 innovative ideas through the MSME portal as Host Institution for Stage 1 Evaluation. Expert committee Selected Two Ideas for stage 2 evaluation and submitted to the MSME portal for further action.
