Contribution to the Success of Chandrayaan-3 Mission

Mr. Subrata Chakrabarti (B. Tech. Mechanical Engineer, NERIST, 1997) is the Head of the Solenoid Valve Design Division (SVDD) in Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) of ISRO in Trivandrum. His division played pivotal role in the success of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission. Notable contributions of the Division headed by him include delivery of 58 valves for the illustrious Chandrayaan-3 mission which have all worked to perfection.Presently, his division is working for the success of the upcoming and prestigious Gaganyaan and Chandrayaan-5 missions. He is recipient of ISRO Young Scientist merit award in 2008.
