It was a great honour to welcome Dr. S. N. Jha, President, ISAE and Ex DDG, ICAR, to the Department of Food Engineering and Technology (FET), NERIST, on 30th September 2026.
Dr. Jha Sir visit was highly inspiring and encouraging for the faculty members. His valuable guidance and insights highlighted the importance and growing scope of Food Engineering and Technology in Northeast India, particularly in strengthening food processing, value addition, innovation, entrepreneurship, and research for the benefit of the region. His words of encouragement have motivated us to work with greater commitment towards building a strong academic, research, and industry-oriented ecosystem in Food Engineering and Technology at NERIST.
