An MoU has been signed between the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) and the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG), on 10 November 2025, for academic and research collaboration between the two institutes, in both traditional and emerging interdisciplinary domains in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Social Sciences.
