The practical classes of Certificate Courses, B.Tech. (AE, CE, CSE, ECE, EE and ME), B.Sc. (PH, CY, MA, FO) and M.Tech. (AI & CSE) are held in this laboratory. The students get exposure to various types of Application Software such as Visual Basics, Visual C++, Dev C++, Bison-2.4.1, Flex 2.5.4a, Network Simulator NetSim Standard, Packet Tracer 7.3.0, Wireshark 4.0.2, SSH Client, Tunnelier 9.25, etc in this lab. It is well equipped with Desktop PC (Model HP 280 GIMT) Processor Intel i3 and i5 Windows10 Pro, MS Office 2016, Server system IBM X-3500 M2 (Tower Model), HCL INFINITY GLOBAL LINE 2700, HP Laser jet printer P3015, HP Scanjet N6350 Network Scanner, Lipi Line Printer 6306, 15KVA Online UPS system etc. and Full HD BenQ projector. The laboratory is equipped with LAN and WiFi network for internet access. Basic Computer training for the students of all the Departments of NERIST and other nearby institutions such as THRIMS is also given here.
